Towards Zero Waste Living
Circular Economy is all about reducing, reusing, and recycling. We are working with the business side to redesign their goods in small or big ways so it makes it easier for us all to be circular.
Now this app we are recommending is by an Australian Female founder. The only thing we recommend is that you also use Reforest and offset your Carbon Footprint, if you choose to, through them.
Their trees are planted and monitored in places like the Mabi forest, which is critically endangered, on the Tablelands in FNQ where the last habitat for Tree Kangaroos in Australia is located.
As our micro factories grow we will have green jobs to help us deliver circular business model solutions for the 7 types of plastics and contaminated Agriculture and industry waste including tyres in our region.
Another reason to join us is Book Club -
we discuss the books we have on our list and will also take suggestions. Collective Intelligence and human centred design are on the menu.
The one thing you can do to reduce your footprint is to stop buying as much synthetic clothing, we know gym and walking gear is hard not to, but reduce is the key. Every piece of synthetic clothing you buy contributes to micro plastics in the Surface Micro Layer.
We will be talking about that subject as that is our Roman Empire and part of our Blue Carbon Project we are working on.
It is the tipping point to climate change, we regenerate the surface micro layer of the ocean, we can turn the tide on climate change.
Everything we do is for that 1mm of the ocean. As it's ripple effects will be global.
Circular Economy Far North Queensland is committed to making the transition to a Circular Economy that aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals and supporting Australian Innovation.
We collaborate with existing awesome humans to help bring Circular Economy Framework to life in FNQ. And share how we are doing it along the way. #bettertogether
